King’s Reach Mission
To continually respond to the needs
of our community
King’s Reach was
established in 2003 with the aim of providing the highest
standards of care for families and young people in need of
significant care and support. The
organisation is an expanding service which offers a range of
quality services in the following areas:
-
Alternative
curriculum education to teenagers who can no longer attend
mainstream education.
-
One to one
education for young people who need intensive support.
-
Family support
services.
-
Total Impact
course.
-
Behaviour
management service for schools.
-
The Gardening
Project.
We recognise that our particular focus and specialisation is the
‘hard to reach’ and vulnerable in society. With this focus it is
our intent:
-
To engage with disadvantaged young people and improve their
approach towards education and achievement.
-
To assist our
local authorities in supporting young people and their
families in the community.
-
To provide a programme for young
people with the aim of building self esteem, confidence and
developing their social skills
-
To offer
unconditional acceptance to the individual although not
necessarily of their behaviour.
-
Giving hope and
encouragement to the young people who feel they have been
written off by society.
